| Description: | A millionaire is worried about his wild daughter Connie (Lucille Ball), so he hires four All-American football players from Ivy League schools to be her guardians at tiny Pottawatomie College. The boys sign contracts that they won't fall in love with Connie, but Clint (Richard Carlson) can't help himself. And the boys can't help playing football, making the horrible team suddenly unbeatable. Connie finds out that her dad hired Clint and insists on leaving school, but she soon changes her mind. He father allows her to date Clint, and the boys go on to be starts. The other boys are played by Eddie Bracken, Hal Le Roy, and Desi Arnaz (this is when he met Lucy). Frances Langford and Ann Miller play college girls and do a lot of singing and dancing. |
