| Description: | Slapstick nonsense about two Army sergeants, Doubleday (William Tracy) and Ames (Joe Sawyer) who keeping getting mixed up in ridiculous circumstances, mostly because the big, loutish Ames keeps taking advantage of the smaller, smarter, richer Doubleday. There's nonsense about drilling, about girls, and about a fight with other military personnel that involves disassembling each others' cars. Doubleday wants to spend time with Betty, but Sally keeps showing up and confusing things. In the end, Ames ends up arrested. |
