Description:Belle Starr is shot dead in her house. Her daughter, Rose (Ruth Roman), thinks Sheriff Tom Jackson (George Montgomery) did it, but it was really Bob Yauntis (Rod Cameron), a member of Belle's outlaw gang. When Tom starts paying attention to her, Rose wants nothing to do with him. Bob rides into town, picks a fight with a drunk and shoots him, then rides out with his gang, taking rose along. They pull several robberies, with Rose helping. One of Bob's men is shot. Before he dies, he tells Rose that it was Bob who shot her mother. Tom rides after the gang and manages to kill them all but Rose, but not before being injured. He thinks Rose is going to ride off, but she grabs his horse and brings it to him. He tells her she'll have to go to jail. She says she knows, and asks if he'll wait for her.

Review - Belle Starr's Daughter

The plot, while not particularly compelling, at least hung together. Ruth Roman, in her first starring role, was pretty. The other characters were dull.
