| Description: | Libby (Tuesday Weld) ditches boarding school and heads home to the California coast. When she gets to her house, she discovers that her mother Helen (Celeste Holm) is in France, and her mothers fiance English Prof. Bruce (Terry Thomas) is staying there. She decides to move in anyway, even though he doesn't know who she is. Bruce thinks that Libby is a waif and lets her hang around. Libby and Make (Richard Beymer), who lives in a trailer in the drive fall for each other. There's much confusion as Helen arrives home just as Bruce is taking Mike's advise for how to get rid of the aggressive women who are drawn to Englishmen. But all is forgiven, and Libby marries Mike. |
