| Description: | Two friends, Johnnie (Bert Wheeler) and Newton (Robert Woolsey) run a cigar stand in an office building. When Johnnie's girl Mary (Betty Grable) is accused of shooting her boss, Mr. Lake, the two friends set out to solve the crime. There's all sorts of slapstick nonsense, sight gags, and chase scenes before they, and the police, realize the killer is a detective Lake hired to protect him from the Black Widow blackmailer. The detective also is the Black Widow. |
