| Description: | When Nancy's (Janet Gaynor) fiance doesn't show up for their wedding, she travels to New York to find him. On the train, she meets writer Mal (Robert Montgomery) and causes him to be stranded. In New York, her purse is stolen, so she shows up at Mal's apartment because he's the only person she knows. In her small-town way, she is soon taking over his life. At first, he considers her a pest, which allows Mal's best friend Bob (Franchot Tone) to move in an court her. Bob tries to get Nancy to marry him, but Mal does everything he can to stop her. Then Nancy's fiance shows up, and all three men vie for her hand. Mal ends up marrying Nancy, but she accidentally leaves him behind when she sails to Europe for their honeymoon. |
