Description:During WWII, Merchant Marine sailor Dan (Gordon Oliver) accidentally invites both his girlfriends, Carol (Virginia Mayo) and Lucy (Amelita Ward) to meet him when his ship docks. To complicate matters, his parents show up with his ex-fiancee, Annabelle (Elaine Shepard), whom Dan really cares for. Dan sends Carol and Lucy off with his two shipmates, Monty (Wally Brown) and Orval (Alan Carney), but soon all three girls find out what Dan's been doing and play a prank on him — Carol and Lucy serve him with breach-of-promise notes. Dan tries to escape by having Monty and Orval pretend to be millionaires so the girls will want to marry them. Carol and Lucy know what's going on but, to their surprise, actually do fall in love with Dan's two friends. Then Annabelle's fiance shows up and Dan thinks he's out in the cold. But Annabelle has a change of heart and she and Dan get married.

Total nonsense save by three things: 1)Some fun songs; 2)Some funny bits with Brown and Carney; and 3)Elaine Shepherd, whom I don't remember having seen before but who exuded femininity and grace in a mostly thankless role.
