Review - Yellow Cab Man, The
If you like the character Red Skelton plays in every movie he's in, you'll like this. But I've seen several, and it's no longer clever.

| Description: | Accident-prone Red Pirdy (Red Skelton) invents an unbreakable glass. Crook Martin Creavy (Edward Arnold) determines to find the formula, which only exists in Red's head. While Creavy schemes, Red makes two friends, Mickey (James Gleason), who gets Red a job with the cab company, and Ellen (Gloria DeHaven). Red bumbles around in and out of trouble while courting Ellen. Creavy continues to chase him, but Red doesn't realize Creavy is an enemy. It all ends in a slapstick mess at a home show, but Creavy and his gang get arrested and Red, although injured in yet another accident, ends up with Ellen. |
