| Description: | The cattlemen in town aren't happy when Jason Sweet (Glenn Ford) rides into town with a herd of sheep. Dell Payton (Shirley MacLaine) finds him interesting, even though she's engaged to chief rancher Stephen Bedford (Leslie Nielsen). When Bedford can't talk Jason into leaving, he resorts to trickery — inviting Jason to a party while his men round of the sheep and put them (and then Jason) on a train out of town. Jason returns with his sheep, so Bedford hires three gunmen, one of whom killed Jason's fiancee years before, to kill him. With help from Dell and the stable owner, Jason manages to kill the head gunmen and stop the others. He then heads to Stephen's ranch for a showdown and kills him. He sells his sheep — he just brought them to the area to stir things up and get Stephen and the gunman. He buys a ranch and marries Dell. |
