| Description: | Three sailors, Bill (Tony Martin), Rico (Vic Damone), and Danny (Russ Tamblyn) go on leave hoping to have some fun with girls. Bill has been engaged to Ginger (Ann Miller) for a long time, and she's tired of waiting for him. Danny's sister Susan (Jane Powell) goes to a director's apartment hoping to audition for a part in a play. He has designs on her, but is already married. Danny finds out and goes to rescue her. Bill and Danny fight the director while Rico gets Susan out of there. She fights him off for a while but they're soon in love. Danny meets dancer Carol (Debbie Reynolds). The director presses charges, and the three sailors are on the run from the Shore Patrol. It all gets worked out in silly fashion, and all three guys end up with their girls. |
