Review - Some Kind of a Nut

| Description: | Fred Amidon (Dick Van Dyke) is on a picnic with his girlfriend Pamela (Rosemary Forsyth) when he's stung on the chin by a bee. He goes on vacation, and because the sting makes it hard to shave, he grows a beard. When he returns, his boss at the bank demands he shave it off. Sick of being told what to do, Fred refuses. He's soon fired, and all his fell0w tellers grow beards to protest. Pamela wants it off, so she drugs Fred so her brothers can shave him. They get the beard half off when Fred runs outside and is caught on a roof. He's put into an asylum for a month until his ex-wife Rachel (Angie Dickinson) bales him out. On the way home, Pamela lets him know she's breaking up. Rachel, on the other hand, applauds Fred for just being himself. She and Fred get back together. |
