| Description: | The loves and hearbreaks of three secretaries at a NYpublishing firm. Gregg (Suzy Parker), actress want-to-be, quits her job for a director. When he dumps her for his next starlet, she stalks him until she flips out and falls off a balcony to her death. April (Diane Baker) has a fling with a playboy and gets pregnant. On her way to what she thinks is her wedding, she finds out he's taking her to an abortionist. She jumps out of the car, loses the baby, but falls in love with the doctor who treats her. Caroline (Hope Lange) is jilted by her fiance. She rises through the firm and becomes and editor. When her ex shows up and asks her to be his mistress, she storms out. She ends up with Mike, an older executive in the company who has been interested in her all along. |
