| Description: | U.S. gold, stolen by the Confederates, found by the Mexicans, and stolen again by Catlow (Yul Brynner) and his gang. He's chased all over by Marshall Cowan (Richard Crenna) and bounty hunter Miller (Leonard Nimoy), the Mexican army, and two separate Indian tribes. Catlow and Cowan are old friends from the war. They keep capturing each other and letting each other go. In the end, Miller is killed, Catlow escapes with two of his men, the Mexicans have the gold, and Cowan is injured and left in the care of Christina (Jo Ann Pflug). |
