| Description: | Friends Judy (Maureen O'Hara), ballet dancer, and Bubbles (Lucille Ball), burlesque dancer, try to find work. They both meet rich playboy Jimmy (Louis Hayward), who is divorcing his wife, but he ends the evening with Bubbles. Judy goes to an audition with Steve (Ralph Bellamy), but chickens out. They both get jobs with a burlesque troop, Bubbles doing her stuff, and Judy acting as a stooge to make people cheer for Bubbles. Jimmy shows up after his divorce and takes Judy out, but then he gets drunk and Bubbles whisks him away and marries him. Judy and Bubbles fight, and Steve shows up in court, bails Judy out, and gives her a job with his ballet troop. |
