Description:Andrew (Danny Kaye) is a college professor who is engaged to Letitia. Before he can marry her, he has to convince his stern father, the president of the university, to give him a raise. His father will only do that if Andrew gets published. To achieve this, Andrew decides to uncover a lost statue of Pan. When he goes to the site, he finds a circus and meets acrobat Selena (Pier Angeli). While he's looking for the statue, he and Angeli fall in love. He also gets dragged into the act and has the time of his life. But Andrew feels bound to his fiancee and the university. He tries to return to his old life, but ultimately he chooses Selena. Letitia marries one of Andrew's brothers.

Review - Merry Andrew

Typical Danny Kaye nonsense, made a little more palatable by some catchy songs and the lovely Pier Angeli.
