| Description: | Dobie Gillis (Bobby Van) heads to college, not to learn but to have fun — especially after he meets, and falls for, Pansy (Debbie Reynolds). She likes him too, but her father is opposed to his daughter dating, and especially to Dobie. No matter what they do, something goes wrong and they get in a fix. Finally, Pansy's father pulls her out of school and sends her to live with her aunt. This doesn't fix things — Dobie finds a way to visit, and then Pansy runs away. Finally Pansy's father relents and allows them to date. |
