Description:Incompetent bank teller Wilbur Meeley (Joe Penner) wins a trailer in a raffle and decides to sleep in it on the night his bank is robbed. The three robbers hitch their car to the trailer to disguise it and take off. When he is reported missing, Wilbur is suspected of robbing the bank. He contacts his wife Carol (Lucille Ball), and she takes off after him. She meets Count Pierre, a shyster who is on his way to marry heiress Judy (June Travis). The robbers find out about Judy and encourage Wilbur to "rescue" her from the Count, then they hold her for ransom. Pursued by the police, the bank president, the cops, and Carol, the robbers send the trailer hurtling down a mountain. Wilbur somehow manages to steer it to safety, return the bank money and Judy, keep Judy from marrying the fake Count, and lead the cops to the robbers.

Review - Go Chase Yourself

If this had been played a little differently, it could have been a funny, clever movie. Penner was far too annoying in the lead, and about half the hijinks could have been eliminated. The funniest bit was when the robbers tell Wilbur to send the ransom note in Judy's suitcase so her parents will know the robbers have her. But Wilbur accidently attaches the note to the suitcase with the bank money, so Judy's parents get a ransom note for $40,000 attached to a suitcase containing $50,000.
