| Description: | Anthology movie in which many of the Paramount stars make cameos. Bronco Billy Webb (Victor Moore), security guard at the studio, told his son Johnny (Eddie Bracken) that he ran the studio. On leave, Johnny shows up with some sailor buddies. Billy, with the help of Johnny's girlfriend Polly (Betty Hutton) fake out the boys for a while, but the truth comes out. Famous stars, headed by Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, agree to put on a benefit show for the sailors, filled with music acts and skits. It all ends with a big patriotic number by Bing. |
