| Description: | Baldwin Wines owns all the vineyards in a California vineyard except one, and that one's for sale. Margo Baldwyn, CEO, sends her son Carter, to find out what he can so Baldwin can make the top bid. Carter manages to find Valentina (Sol Rodriguez), a young widow with two sons, who is handling the sale. He makes a deal to stay in her guest house in exchange for carpentry work — which he knows nothing about. With help from a weirdly cooperative hardware store owner, he gets the job done. Along the way, he and Valentina fall in love (naturally). He finds out the vineyard supports a large garage wine community, and tries to talk his mother out of buying it, but he's too late. Valentina is hurt when she finds out who he is. So Carter comes up with a way to force the issue. He crashes the Baldwin Wines Christmas party, tricks everyone into drinking one of the garage wines, and announces that Baldwin will continue to support the local wine-making community. His mother agrees. He and Valentina get together. |
