This movie had no reason to exist. The plot was shallow and the characters unappealing. In addition, Zachary Scott acted as though he had a hangover. It had to resort to nonsense like Larry wearing a squeaky pair of goloshes in a snowstorm, then keeping them on all evening while he was back at home with Olivia and even wearing them when he slept on the couch and got up in the morning. The soundtrack made loud squishing noises with every step he took.
