| Description: | Writer Steve (Zachary Scott) visits his friend Larry (Ronald Reagan), rancher and veterinarian. They meet Rory (Alexis Smith), another rancher who lives nearby, and both men fall in love with her. Rory chooses Larry, but is hurt when he doesn't arrive in time to save a sick horse because he was at another woman's house, tending to sick cattle. She decides to marry Steve instead. Then an anthrax outbreak hits the area. Larry works overtime and manages to stop the disease with an experimental serum. Larry comes down with the sickness himself and is about to die. The doctor gives up hope and turns a blind eye while Rory gives Larry his horse serum, which saves his life. Larry and Rory end up together. |
