Description:Anita (Loretta Young), about to marry Don (Broderick Crawford), gets swept off her feet by magician/hypnotist Tony "The Great" Arturo (David Niven). They marry, and Anita becomes part of the act. But after a while, when she realizes Tony is more devoted to his act than to her, she decides to disappear for real in the middle of one of his shows. She marries Don, but when she meets Tony again, he professes his love and they get back together.

I watched this with my wife in a hotel room, and neither of us liked any of the characters. We didn't much care who Anita ended up with and didn't think a marriage could work with either of the men.
