Description:Hyde (Jack Hawkins), a colonel upset that he's been retired from the military, gathers a group of seven ex-officers who were dishonorably discharged for various crimes. Together they plan a bank robbery using precise military planning. The robbery goes off as planned, but they get caught because the police are able to trace a license plate.

Review - League of Gentlemen, The

No characters worth rooting for. I truly didn't care whether they got away with the robbery or not, but of course, at that time, film censors wouldn't allow them to. I guess it was novel at the time it was made, but it just felt like so many other heist movies I've seen.
