| Description: | Agent Carol Ainsley (Rosalind Russell) is looking for the right person to play "The Whirlwind" in a movie adaptation of a best-selling novel. Tagging along with her is journalist Henry Pepper (Brian Aherne). When Carol meets Michael Cobb, writer of the book. she decides he's perfect for the role. He's reluctant at first, but Carol is persuasive and coaches Michael through the training to be an actor. Along the way, Michael decides he's in love with Carol. Meanwhile, Henry loves her too and lets her know. In the end, Michael decides to go on with the role even though Carol turns him down. She and Henry get together. |
