Description:Tim Forrester (Robert Beatty) finds out that his brother Louis was murdered in Italy shortly after sending Tim a postcard with a drawing of a wine bottle. Tim is contacted by John Smith, the father of a girl named Alison who was supposedly killed with Louis. A few days later, Tim's artist's model, Jill, is found murdered in his apartment. Inspector Colby (Geoffrey Keen) thinks Tim committed the murder, especially when people and clues keep disappearing. Then Alison (Terry Moore) shows up, asking Tim for help. In the end, it turns out that Louis had uncovered the names of people involved in a diamond-smuggling ring and had written them on the card. Alison's father was one of the ring. A local member of the ring who had been Jill's fiancé, was the one who killed Jill and tried to kill Alison.

Review - Postmark for Danger

Decent plot done well for the most part, notwithstanding some odd jumps in context. The main problem was the miscasting. Beatty did not at all seem like an artist, and Terry Moore, in this movie anyway, simply didn't know how to act.
