Review - Cinderella Jones
Absolute nonsense. I would have enjoyed it more if I'd turned off the sound and just watched Joan Leslie.

| Description: | Singer Judy Jones (Joan Leslie) is dating bandleader Tommy (Robert Alda) when she discovers that she's inherited $10 million—with the stipulation that she marry a man with an I.Q. of at least 150. She heads off to an all-male college to meet a man and gets a job at a local coffee shop. She repeatedly butts heads with professor Bart (William Prince), but they soon decide they should get married. Tommy isn't happy about it, but goes along. There's a lot of silliness about falling out of a canoe and being thrown in jail that has nothing to do with the plot. Tommy makes a speech about the rights of those wrongfully imprisoned, and everyone realizes he's much more of a genius than Bart. Everyone takes off to Nevada so Judy and Tommy can get married. On the way the run into an Army convoy and get married by the chaplain. Bart, on the spur ot he moment decides to marry Judy's friend Camille (Julie Bishop). |
