| Description: | Josie (Hilarie Burton) needs to bring a date to her parents' anniversary party. But her overbearing, critical parents don't like her snobbish, obnoxious boyfriend, Richard. So Josie brings Maxwell (Paul Campbell), an old friend from high school that her parents hated, thinking that Richard will look good by comparison. Things go rocky at first, but Maxwell manages to get the dysfunctional family reunited and cheerful and makes the party a success—even though Richard shows up and tries to make him look bad. Josie decides to dump Richard and get together with Maxwell. Tim Conway played the grandfather who pretended to be senile so he wouldn't have to talk to his annoying family. |
