| Description: | Vanessa (Aimee Teegarden) is single and an orphan. She hears from a DNA test that her biological father, Richard, lives one state over. She contacts him, they meet, and he invites her to join the family for Christmas week. She bonds with Richard, his wife Pauline, and their three kids. She and family friend Kris (Andrew Walker) fall for each other. But on Christmas Eve, Vanessa gets a message from the DNA company saying the results were messed up and she was confused with another girl with the same name. She confesses this to the family and heads back to her home. But Richard finds a photo of his old girlfriend, and she looks just like Vanessa. The entire family travels to her home and sings carols outside her door until she comes out. Richard shows her the photo, and she recognizes her mom. Kris shows up and tells her he loves her. |
