| Description: | Doris (Carole Lombard), fashion model from a poor family, and Jimmie (Chester Morris), mechanic, are in love but Doris doesn't want to end up like her family, so she ends it. She's hired to model clothes at a wealthy party and meets Eric, a rich, married, playboy. She starts going around with him and gets a taste of the lifestyle, but soon becomes disillusioned and goes to work in a factory. Meanwhile, Jimmie becomes chauffer for wealthy Claire (Adrienne Ames), who says she loves him and drags him around everywhere with her. But he can't get Doris off his mind. He looks her up and they get back together, now that they understand riches doesn't make anyone happy. Cary Grant has a small role as another playboy who makes a play for Doris. |
