Description:Telephone repairman Terry (Pat O'Brien) is a lady's man who flirts with the women he meets on his repair calls. Marie (Joan Blondell) is a switchboard operator at a hotel. When a crook tricks Marie into transferring a call to the wrong number, Terry is called to find out how it happened. Marie gets fired, but not before Terry pursues her for a date. He gets her another job, but the same crook uses her once again to steal money by distracting her while a messenger is sent to the wrong office. Marie is arrested. Terry determines to help her, so he taps the phone of the crook and goes to his apartment. He's captured by the crook's gang who plan to kill him, but he has his equipment with him, patches into the phone line and lets his partner, John (Allen Jenkins) know where he is. All Terry's coworkers rush to his rescue. The money is recovered, and Terry and Marie get married.

Review - I've Got Your Number

It started out great, with scenes of Terry and John making repair calls for the phone company. It was still pretty good up to the point where Terry got captured by the crooks. Then it got a little goofy with a fake-looking fight scene between the crooks and the phone company employees. The character of Terry engaged in a lot of inuendo and what would not be called sexual harassment. Even with Marie, he badgered her into a date against her will, although she (for some reason) came to like him.
