Description:Doris Worthington (Carole Lombard), wealthy heiress, is pursued by two princes on her yacht, but she only has eyes for a lowly sailor, Stephen (Bing Crosby). When the ship sinks, Doris makes it to an island with Stephen, the princes, her friend Edith (Ethel Merman), and Edith's drunk boyfriend. Stephen is the only one with survival skills, but he refuses to take care of the others unless they help with the work. Doris lets Stephen know how she feels, but he wants to make it on his own and not rely on her riches. They're rescued on different ships, but Doris switches to Stephen's ship and lets him know she wants to live his life. George Burns and Gracie Allen were also on the island doing routines that had nothing to do with the story.

Review - We're Not Dressing

Too silly to be good on any level. I know Crosby kept singing the same two or three songs over and over. Lombard looked like she just woke up and wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing. Burns and Allen have never been funny. Mostly notable for how young Crosby, Merman and Ray Milland (one of the princes) looked.
