Description:Howard (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a dad who frequently disappoints his son Jamie because he's too busy to show up for stuff. Howard decides to make it up to Jamie by giving him a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas — but once again he's late and the stores are all sold out. During his frantic search, he's frequently frustrated by Myron, another father who waited too long. While this is going on, Howard's neighbor Ted (Phil Hartman) is trying to move in on his wife Liz (Rita Wilson). During his frantic day, Howard keeps getting in trouble with Officer Hummell (Robert Conrad). He runs into Hummell at the parade that he promised Jamie he would be at. He ducks into a building and finds himself chosen as the man to play Turbo Man in the parade — complete with a suit that flies and shoots projectiles, etc. When he's on the float in the parade, he sees Jamie and chooses him to ride the float with him and receive a Turbo Man figure. Myron ties up the guy who was supposed to play the villian and attacks Howard mid-parade to get the figure. Howard fights him off (as Turbo Man), but Jamie runs off and climbs to the roof a building, with Myron following. He falls, and Howard uses the suit to fly up and catch him, becoming a hero. Jamie decides he doesn't need the figure because he's got the real Turbo Man at home.

Review - Jingle All the Way

Over-the-top without any real characters, except maybe Liz as the frustrated wife. The dumbest part was at the end when Howard (with Arnold's accent) is talking with his son and wife and they don't recognize him until he takes his vizor off. I not only could recognize my father's voice three rooms away (and he didn't have an accent), I could also tell it was him when I just heard him walking down a hallway.
