Description:Ranchers Walton and the Turner are feuding over land and accusing each other of rustling cattle. Sherriff Buck Gordon (Buck Jones) is trying to keep them from killing each other. Turner's son, Clint (John Wayne) is in love with Walton's daughter Judy (Susan Fleming). Clint goes to Walton's ranch to see Judy and is chased off by Walton. A short time later, Walton is shot to death, and Clint is accused. He is tried and found guilty, but Buck is his friend and keeps investigating. He sees someone trying to steal Walton's cattle and tries to stop him, but gets shot. The next morning, he realizes that Clint is about to be hung. He rushes to stop the hanging with a piece of evidence that points to the real killer — Walton's own foreman. He arrives just in time, the range feud is over, and Clint and Judy end up together.

Review - Range Feud, The

I know this was made just a year or two after talking movies became a thing, but the dialogue here is hard to take. It's like the actors memorized their lines and are waiting for their cue to talk. One says something ridiculously obvious. There's a pause. Then the other one says something banal in response. The action, apart from one sped-up fight scene, consists of men riding fast on horses.
