Review - Blackout
I wanted to like it more than I did. It had its moments, but like many mysteries, the whole story is chasing false leads.

| Description: | Casey (Dane Clark) is drunk in a London bar when beautiful, young Phyllis (Belinda Lee) approaches him and offers him money to marry her. The next thing Casey knows, he wakes up in a stranger's apartment, and Phyllis's wealthy father has been murdered. Phyllis shows up and tells Casey that her fiancé Gordon, who worked with her father, is responsible. There are twists and turns and dead bodies — at one point, Casey thinks Phyllis is the murderer. But in the end, it turns out that Phyllis's mother and Gordon were syphoning money from Phyllis's father, but he found out about it, so they killed him. It was the mother who killed the father and the others. Casey confronts her and is shot, but gets the gun away from her until the police arrive and arrest her. Casey and Phyllis get married for real. |
