| Description: | Ditsy Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michele (Lisa Kudrow) are best friends in high school who always get picked on by the "A list" girls. Nerd Sandy (Alan Cumming) has a crush on Michele. Ten years later, they live in L.A. Romy works at a car dealership while Michele is unemployed. They debate going to their high school reunion because they aren't successful, so they decide to fake it and pretend the invented Post-It Notes. Things don't go as planned, and they become the laughing stock of the reunion and leave. But Michele tells Romy that she never realized they weren't popular because she was always having fun. They decide to go back, but this time, as themselves. They dress in weird fashions they designed. At first, their teased, but a classmate who has become the fashion editor at Vogue says they actually have a knack for style. Then Sandy shows up, now a millionaire, dances with them, and flies them off in his helicopter. Back in L.A., he loans them the money to open their own fashion botique. |
