Review - Ladies Must LIve
This movie/story has no reason to exist. Morris has the charisma of cardboard.

| Description: | Wealthy farmer Corey (Wayne Morris) meets singer Pat Halliday (Rosemary Lane) and they fall in love. Corey makes Pat's brother George (George Reeves) his CFO and gives her dad a chunk of money to develop an invention. They plan their wedding and invite Corey's boyhood pal Pete (Roscoe Karns) to be best man. Pete meets the Hallidays and immediately jumps to the conclusion that they're just after Corey's money. He accuses and insults them so much that Pat calls off the wedding and George quits his job. Corey proves to Pete that he's wrong, so Pete pulls some tricks to get everyone in the same room and then apologizes and makes everything right. |
