| Description: | Nadine (Hailee Steinfeld) is dealing with being unpopular, the death of her dad, her neurotic mother, her perfect brother Darian, and the fact that he's dating her best friend. She takes her troubles to Mr. Bruner (Woody Harrelson), her history teacher, who isn't quite sure what to do about it. While Nadine is pursuing Nick, a jerk in her school, she doesn't notice that Erwin, the guy who sits next to her in history, likes her and is cool. She flips out one night and goes out with Nick, narrowly avoiding being molested. Darian has had enough and tells her just how selfish her "poor me" routine is. She finally gets it, cleans up her act, and gets together with Erwin. |
