Reviews for Jurassic Park
Review - Jurassic Park
Fairly close to the book, but with fewer characters and some other adjustments. It was all too campy for my taste.

| Description: | Hammond (Richard Attenborough) has found a way to clone dinosaurs and plans on building a resort/zoo on an island. He invites dinosaur experts Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie (Laura Dern), and mathematician Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to visit, along with his own grandchildren, Tim and Lex. While the visitors are touring the park, computer guy Nedry turns off the security system so he can sneak some technology out of the park. This enables the dinosaurs to escape from their pens. A couple people are killed. Grant ends up with the two kids, trying to make their way back to the control room. The fight off attack after attack while Ellie searches for them and helps get the security systems back up and running. The four of them with Hammond and Malcolm make it off the island, and Hammond decides not to continue the project. |
