Description:Billie (Jocelyn Hudon) works with engaged couples to ensure that the leftovers (food, flowers, decorations, etc.) will be given to charity rather than tossed. (How she makes money at this is never explained.) Max and Jess get into a fight over their wedding and decide to call it off. Enter Charlie (Jake Foy), Max's brother. He believes Max and Jess should be together and wants Billie to help him convince them. Meanwhile, Billie gets notice that the lease on her old warehouse location is to be sold. Charlie works for a real estate company and promises that his company will buy the building. The four of them spend the next week donating all the wedding stuff, and in the process, Max and Jess decide they belong together all along. But instead of buying and keeping the old building, Charlie's company plans on razing it. Billie decides to get it declared a historic building and saves it. Max and Jess go ahead with a much slimmed-down wedding, and Billie and Charlie eng up together.

Review - Eat, Drink and Be Married

I like Jocelyn Hudon, and she played a likeable (for the most part) character here. but the premise was lame. In addition, Max was thoroughly unlikeable (with bizarre orange-dyed hair), and I refuse to believe any woman would care for him. Two other minor issues, but ones I couldn't stop noticing. First, Foy has a weird way of walking with his arms out to his sides like he's wearing too many shirts. Second, Hudon had a zit on her chin. Not a big deal, but the movie wasn't shot in sequence, so the zit kept appearing and disappearing, even within the same scene.
