Obviously they came up with the (stupid) name and then had to write a script to fit. The first year, when Chloe and Even met, was typical Christmas romance fare, but fine. From then on, it just got stupid. Two people who fall for each other but never write or text or call? Two other major issues: 1) a skating rink with an obvious non-ice surface that was about the size of my bedroom, and 2) Evan's niece who was about 10 on the first Christmas and exactly the same age five years later. In fact none of the characters aged over the five years, although Chloe changed her hairstyle a bit. By the end of the movie, I had lost any reason to care what happened.
