| Description: | Olive (Lili Reinhart) goes to Stanford to do research on the type of cancer that killed her mom. She becomes friends with Anh, and soon notices that both of them like Jeremy — who has a crush on Ahn. So Olive tells Anh she already has a boyfriend, and when Anh is about to find out otherwise, Olive impulsively kisses Dr. Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman), known as Dr. Evil for his strict, harsh treatment of students. Adam wants a grant, and believes that being seen with a girlfriend will assure the bigwigs that he means to stick around. So he and Olive decide to fake date, which goes exactly the way you would expect. By the time their "dating" period is over, they're in love. Meanwhile, Olive submits a grant application at Harvard and is accepted, but the Harvard professor makes it clear that personal favors are required. She turns it down and convinces a professor at Stanford to give her a shot. Adam thinks she's moved on, but Anh lets him know what happened. Adam confronts the Harvard professor, and he and Olive get together for real. |
