Review - Perfect on Paper
The story wasn't bad, but Lindsay Hartley as the lead was unappealing.

| Description: | Avery asks her best friend Natalie (Lindsay Hartley) to come to L.A. to edit for her publishing company, and especially for best-selling romance novelist Beverly Wilcox (Morgan Fairchild). Natalie has had a string of bums for boyfriends, so she's determined to find a guy who looks good on paper first. While butting heads with Beverly, she gets to know her neighbor Coop (Drew Fuller) who appears to be a handyman and cook, and while she's drawn to him, she decides that lawyer Bob is the better match. Bob encourages her to stand up to Beverly, which results in her leaving Avery's company and joining one for which Bob is the lawyer. Natalie tries to apologize to Coop, but he's not interested. She packs up and prepares to move back home. But Beverly shows up and tells Natalie she's a great editor. She can't do anything about her contract with Bob's company, but she has an idea for another line of books under her own name, which she agrees to do with Avery if Natalie is her editor. She and Coop finally get things worked out and get together. |
