100 Birds Each Month

At the beginning of 2024, I set the goal of seeing at least 100 species in each month of the year. A short time later, I noticed that I’d done just that in 2023 without realizing it. I decided to continue. At the end of 2024, I kept on right up through May, and it began to feel like a chore. So, in June, 2025, I intentionally stopped at 94 species to break the string.
