This “park” was established to commemorate the removal of the Cherokee people from their homelands in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee to Indian Terriory (Oklahoma) in 1838-1839. The trail consists of information markers set up wherever public lands are found along the old route. I’m not going to make an attempt to see them all, but when I do see them in Arkansas, I’ll post them here.
