The Narrows Bridge also spans Sugar Creek, about two miles east of Cox Ford. After getting yelled at for parking on private property and relocating our vehicles to spaces on the side of the road clearly marked “no parking,” we wandered about. This bridge is no longer in use. The road now crosses a concrete bridge about 30 yards upstream. We walked down under the bridge and along the shore where we skipped some more stones and tried to avoid poison ivy.
