Description:Gene Autry is an investigator who wants to be a rancher with his sidekick Chuckwalla. But then he meets Anne Lawson (Gloria Henry) whose father has been framed for murder. What follows is an impossible-to-follow tangle involving a mining firm, a crooked sheriff (Alan Hale Jr.), water rights and who knows what. In the end, Autry catches the bad guys and joins with Anne's father in running their ranch.

Review - Riders in the Sky

The movie opens with Autry singing the famous song Ghost Riders in the Sky. The song gave the movie its name, but it was tacked on to another almost-finished movie and had nothing whatsoever to do with the plot. It's a mess, with more plot holes and unexplained behavior than pretty much any movie I've ever seen.
