My brother-in-law came up for a week-long visit with a friend. My friend and I took them to their first Major League baseball game(s) — a White Sox/Red Sox double-header at Comiskey Park.
The first game began at 3:00. Our seats were in the lower deck of the left-field bleachers, just one row back from the field. The Sox left fielder, Gary Redus, spent about seven hours 20 feet in front of us.
Dan Pasqua, Greg Walker, and Daryl Boston of the White Sox hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The White Sox won the first game 8-7.
