I didn’t appreciate this shot until I took a closer look at the expression on their faces. The “king” looks like he has authority but feels the weight of responsibility and the ever present threat of rebellion. His subordinate looks as though she questions the king’s competence while pondering the viability of an overthrow attempt. Alas, it’s lonely at the top.
