Jurustic Park

After a beautiful three days, Monday was rainy and overcast, but things let up for a bit while we were in Marshfield. Jurustic Park was about two acres in extent, with a variety of metal sculptures scattered about the “Hobbit House.”

Clyde Wynia claims he doesn’t create these creatures but excavates them from the nearby McMillan Marsh where they went extinct during the “Iron Age.” Clyde himself gave us a tour. He has a sly sense of humor and a predilection for off-color jokes.

The creatures are clever and popular — we saw several along the streets of Marshfield after we left Jurustic Park. We bought a small frog. We stayed about half an hour.
