Lincolnshire, Illinois — Ryerson Conservation Area

A friend and I parked and began walking down the trail. Almost immediately we noticed the Towhee.  It was foraging on the ground in the oak woods by the parking lot.  When we stopped to look at it, it flew off.  We hiked around on the trails for a while without seeing anything else of interest.
